Get to Know Us
We started this project for a simple reason:
I have loved the 747 for a long time, and I could never find the kind of MCP I actually wanted to use.
Like many others, I watched the hardware market move toward 737 and Airbus products while 747 users were left with fewer and fewer options. After years of waiting, I decided to build the panel myself.
What began as a personal project gradually turned into something much more serious. I tested parts, rewrote firmware, redesigned lighting, and refined the tactile feel again and again — not just to make something that looked right, but something that felt right in actual use.
My background as a long-time 747 simmer, including winning first place in a simulator competition hosted by a major Korean airline, helped shape the standards I wanted this product to meet. Just as importantly, feedback from a current 747 captain helped refine the handling and tactile details throughout development.
MS Aero Dev exists because I believed the 747 still deserved better hardware — and because I knew I wasn’t the only one waiting for it.
